Starry Forest Midnight Long Umbrella
A rain or shine umbrella with a summer star design recreated using patented technology
Digital Steven Graph is a new technology born from joint research between Yamanashi Prefecture and Yamanashi University. Crafted using this new technology and a jacquard loom by Makita Shoten, this umbrella lives up to its name, allowing you to enjoy the tens of thousands of stars and the Milky Way.
In order to recreate a starry sky that looks as though the stars are about to fall at any moment, a total of 80,000 to 90,000 stars are woven into "Starry Forest." Of these, approximately 6,000 bright stars and the Milky Way are based on star observation data and are an almost exact replica of the actual starry sky. Focusing on summer constellations such as Scorpius, Cygnus, and Lyra, the work includes not only constellations visible from the Kanto region, but also more than 40 southern constellations that can only be seen from Kagoshima and Okinawa.
The black color, which evokes midnight, exudes elegance and creates a beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. This umbrella is UV-resistant and can be used in both rain and shine, so you can also use it as a parasol. Enjoy your own personal summer starry sky, whether it's sunny or rainy.
