This umbrella was produced by CEO Yoichi Makita with the theme of "The umbrella that today's men really want." MAKITA STANDARD was created by carefully considering ideas and contacting fashionable weaving artisans from Yamanashi's weaving region, who are well versed in both textiles and fashion. In response to customer requests, a long umbrella type has been released. It is UV-resistant, so it can also be used as a "men's parasol."

Feature 1: Stately herringbone
We wanted to create a fabric that conveys a simple design yet has a woven feel, so we used a herringbone weave, which is often used for suiting. It's a design that will be loved by generations. After repeated trial weaving of archive fabrics, we created a thick fabric. The subdued sheen adds a touch of elegance.

Feature 2: Refined appearance
The long umbrella also comes with an umbrella bag. The sleek silhouette enhances its elegance and allows for neat storage. Its refined appearance and luxurious feel make it a recommended gift.

Feature 3: Wooden handle that changes over time
The handle is made of beech wood, a durable material that is also used for furniture. If you look closely, you'll see that the shape has a certain rhythm to it, which goes perfectly with the brass closure (attached metal fittings). The more you use it, the more it develops its own character, and it is also intended to be used for a long time.

Available in three colors: khaki, navy, and black, which are easy to use both in public and private.
