Native Relaxation Sun Umbrella
A rain and sun umbrella with a native pattern created using traditional unraveling weaving techniques.
The "hogushiori" weaving technique is still practiced in small numbers in the region. It is a weaving method that requires great skill and effort, in which the warp threads are temporarily woven (temporarily fastened) and then painted, before being unraveled and woven properly.
The fading and unevenness that occurs when the fabric is loosened creates a gentle texture and flavor. The tasteful pattern is woven inside to avoid being too flashy. Its paleness is like that of a watercolor painting and is very appealing.
You can feel the overall unity, subtle differences in color, and traditional craftsmanship. The abstract sun accents this long umbrella, giving it a sophisticated yet captivating design.
