"repel." was born from a collaboration with textile designer Ugai Kanna.
Utilizing the technology that Makita Shoten has cultivated over the years, we have applied a water-repellent finish to uneven fabrics, creating a light, thin, and transparent fabric.

Kanna Ugai

Textile designer. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University and its graduate school. In 2017, she launched the fashion brand "Ugai" and holds ordering events twice a year. Her diverse design proposals, which are based on a single textile, continue to attract many fans.
