A masterpiece created by one of Scandinavia's most renowned designers has been made into a rain and sun umbrella.

A collaboration between Stig Lindberg, Sweden's greatest post-war creator, and Makita Shoten, a textile factory specializing in umbrella fabrics and boasting Japan's top technical skills, has resulted in a wonderful long umbrella that will bring joy and excitement to your heart, not only on sunny days but also on rainy days.

The textile design "FRUKTLADA," created in 1956, means "fruit" and "box" in Swedish. As the name suggests, the fruit is beautifully arranged across the umbrella, like a box of fruit, yet with a playful touch. The design and color range are suitable for adults and give a sophisticated impression.

It is a UV-resistant type that can be used in both sunny and rainy weather, and can also be used as an elegant and stylish parasol.

Stig Lindberg
