"Yamanashi Hataori Travel" will be exhibited at Matsuya Ginza!
From June 11th, "Yamanashi Hataoori Travel" will be held at the Matsuya Ginza 7F Design Collection event space, where Yamanashi weaving craftsmen will gather!
This is a weaving area in Yamanashi Prefecture that straddles Fujiyoshida City and Nishikatsura Town at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Blessed with Mt. Fuji's spring water, textile culture has been nurtured since the Edo period. Inheriting that tradition and technology, the town continues to be filled with the sound of weaving, where energetic weavers (Hataya) weave unique fabrics. These hataori craftsmen come from the factory and deliver proud products such as umbrellas, stoles, ties, and miscellaneous goods!
This is our second store opening in Ginza, following last year's Ginza Mitsukoshi store. Please come and visit Matsuya Ginza!
