Exhibition at monova gallery
This year marks the 5th annual Makita Shoten umbrella and parasol exhibition.
This time we will be announcing the "Stig Lindberg" series.
2016 marks the 100th anniversary of Lindberg's birth and the 150th anniversary of Makita Shoten's founding.
This collaboration marks a new initiative between the two companies.
Under the strict supervision of the Lindberg family, Makita Shoten has cultivated the yarn-dyed jacquard technique for many years.
We have a lineup that beautifully reproduces the original design.
We are introducing products that are chic, yet delicate and fun, and can be worn by both men and women.
◆Demonstration event held◆

Makita Shoten staff will be present to demonstrate the process of making an umbrella using a Lindberg umbrella, known as "saddle stitching."
