On Saturday , October 21 , 2017 , the factory shop opened , and we had a lecture by Kitamura-san , who produced " FY MAG 2017. "
We will be holding a workshop on making the popular sacoche bags using umbrella links (triangular fabric) from Makita Shoten!
A sacoche is a bag used to carry food and drinks for bicycle racers during road races.
It is a small, simple bag that can be worn over the shoulder. Recently, apparel and outdoor brands have been focusing on the shape and functionality of sacoche bags and have been developing various designs.
In this workshop, we will use umbrella fabric, which will result in a lightweight, water-repellent bag.
The compact sacoche is very convenient to carry around when hiking, trekking, cycling, and more.
Why not try upcycling a sacoche, which is convenient for everyday use?
The sewing machine only requires simple straight stitches, so even beginners can do it, so we look forward to your participation!

" Fuji Climbing" Kizuna This is a guidebook produced by the executive office of the "Photo Contest . "
This photo contest is open to the public and was started with the hope that climbers on the Yoshida route of Mount Fuji in the summer would take photos to preserve the bonds they forged while climbing Mount Fuji and the beautiful scenery they encountered along the way, as a way to create memories.
This year marks the 13th time the awards have been held. The 2017 winners were announced on October 10th.
