I made an umbrella for the Japanese Masterpiece Club.

We helped make umbrellas for the "Japan Masterpiece Club," a project by Pony Canyon in which Japan's most iconic characters promote Japanese beauty and craftsmanship to the world.

The Gunnai woven umbrella (for both rain and shine) commemorating the 90th anniversary of Tezuka Osamu's birth has been officially released and will be available for pre-sale on Shop Channel on Saturday, June 22, 2019.

The long and folding umbrellas feature original designs based on three of Osamu Tezuka's masterpieces: "Astro Boy," "Princess Knight," and "Unico," all of which are made using yarn-dyed jacquard weave!
