The exhibition "Flowers Bloom" was featured in the Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun on Wednesday, July 21, 2021!
The exhibits will also introduce the characteristics of the fabrics and the technology behind the looms.
The visitors talked about each room, focusing on sunflowers and hydrangeas, and included things like how a flower field was created by placing multiple umbrellas at different heights, a board game that allowed visitors to learn about the umbrella manufacturing process while having fun, and "umbrella business cards," product introduction cards with actual fabric pasted on them.
The exhibition allows visitors to experience traditional Gunnai textiles up close.
