[Event Information] Umbrellas in collaboration with the "Art Deco and Fashion" exhibition are now on sale!
The exhibition "Art Deco and Fashion: Focusing on the Kyoto Costume Institute (KCI) Collection" is currently being held at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum of Art (Marunouchi, Tokyo).
The museum shop, "Store 1894," will be selling merchandise related to the exhibition until the exhibition ends on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
As part of the Art Deco and Mode Exhibition x Makita Shoten, we are now offering the "Art Deco Umbrella," a rain and sun umbrella.

For this exhibition, a special fabric was woven featuring bold original designs from the Art Deco period.
The yarn-dyed jacquard, a unique Gunnai weaving technique, creates a sense of weight and elegance, while the lightweight parts make it easy to carry around. It's also UV-resistant, so it can be used in both rain and shine, and as an umbrella or parasol.
Available in two color schemes, each priced at 19,800 yen (tax included).
Please come and visit us on this special occasion!
