Notice regarding the consumption tax rate change
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Makita Shoten.
Starting October 1, 2019, the consumption tax rate will change from 8% to 10%.
In accordance with this change, we will also be revising the prices of all our products from October 1, 2019.
<Online shop and shop attached to head office>
Orders placed from midnight on October 1, 2019 will be subject to 10% consumption tax, including shipping and cash-on-delivery fees.
Please see below for the revised shipping and handling fees.
<Shipping costs>
If the total order amount is 30,000 yen (33,000 yen including tax) or more per item, shipping will be free.
If the total order amount per location is less than 30,000 yen (33,000 yen including tax), a flat rate of 850 yen (935 yen including tax) will be charged for shipping nationwide.
However, for cover bags, shipping costs will be 550 yen (605 yen including tax) for up to three pieces.
