~What is "Garden Decoration EXPO '25" (excerpt from the official website)~
This event aims to convey the depth and new ways to enjoy fabric, something we take for granted in our daily lives, and to shed light on the hidden charms and context of Japanese textile technology and culture. The indoor area will feature exhibitor booths where you can encounter the fabric-making process and original fabric products, as well as a participatory art program, while the outdoor area will feature exhibitions and talk events by artists who challenge themselves with free expression, providing a wealth of content to help you learn more about fabric from various angles.
Furthermore, through an interview booklet featuring coverage of fabric production sites, a stamp rally, and booths introducing textile production areas across the country, we will be sharing information about current fabric production techniques, production processes, and the quests and challenges of fabric makers.
